Kids Can Vote: Anita Elected as New Mayor of Torontoville!

Thank you parents, caregivers, the young voters and Toronto Public Library staff for participating in this event to celebrate democracy and making it a huge success! In total, we received over 1,200 votes from 40+ Branches. We hope this fictional election was helpful in advancing the cause of a healthy democracy and to instill the spirit of voting in our future electorate.

Election day for Toronto is Monday, October 24, 2022.
