The Mayor and City Council

What's the most important thing you'd act on as Mayor, and what experience or strengths would help you make it happen?

Lower taxes and have more events for the community. My experience running a charity would help make this happen. The average income household will not need to stress as much, i will give tax breaks to the rich and use that money to provide city services such as subsidized food, free laundry and more. Also my experience hosting events (fundraisers, concerts and etc) will be used to host events on a much larger scale.

Housing

Housing costs weigh on Torontonians whether they rent or own, access to subsidized housing is limited, and a growing number of people have no home at all. What would you prioritize on the next City Council to help people find and keep a secure place to live?

City owned houses

Cost of Living

The cost of daily life keeps climbing — housing, transit fares, city fees, etc. What is one thing you would prioritize on the next City Council to make Toronto more affordable, soon enough to matter to residents?

Lower taxes so people have more money.

Safety in Public Spaces

Some Torontonians don't feel safe in parks, on transit, or on certain streets, even where reported crime is low. What would you prioritize on the next City Council to help people be and feel safe in the city's public spaces?

What is the reason why they don’t feel safe? If it is because of tents and people living in the park while sometimes also using drugs, i would remove the tents and build proper shelters for those people. This applies to streets with that same issue. People struggling with mental health will be directed to one of our many services that already exist in Toronto. Transit i will not focus as much on the “harm reduction squad” or whatever it’s called and allow more police officers + TTC security to handle those situations.

Getting Around the City

Getting around the city is a source of frustration for many Torontonians, whether people drive, take transit, cycle, or walk. What would you prioritize on the next City Council to improve how people move around the city, however they travel?

Create teleportation systems lol. This is a really big issue and involves improving many different sectors within the city. I would have to take a look at what form of transportation sees the most frustration/ how many people use this type of transportation and start there.

Confronting Hateful and Hostile Behaviour

Many Torontonians are concerned about hateful and hostile behaviour, which can disproportionately affect newcomers and members of racialized, marginalized, and equity-deserving communities. What would you prioritize on the next City Council to respond and keep Toronto safe and welcoming for everyone?

Honestly i think the community facing the most hate right now is the Jewish people. I would make sure they are protected and try to understand where this anti semitism comes from, then educate the people. That applies to every single group experiencing hate in Toronto. Hate isn’t welcome here and what unites us is stronger than what divides use. This is Toronto, Canada a place that is celebrated for its vast amount of diversity.
