Trustees, the Board, and the Province
What's the most important thing you'd act on as a school board trustee, and what experience or strengths would help you make it happen? As a Catholic leader with nearly three decades of youth leadership experience, my priority is putting students first, strengthening Catholic identity, and ensuring parents are heard at Toronto Catholic District School Board. My decades of service with young people and community leadership give me the practical experience to advocate for Ward 1 families.
As a Catholic, I believe every student is made in the image of God and deserves a safe, respectful learning environment. I support zero tolerance for bullying, strong accountability, clear reporting procedures, and proactive strategies rooted in Christian values of respect and kindness.
As a Catholic, I believe every student deserves the support they need to succeed. I will advocate for fair funding, classroom resources, manageable class sizes, and strong support for teachers and EA's so no student is overlooked.
Special Programs and Program Access
School boards make decisions about the range and distribution of specialized programs, including special education, language programs, and arts programming. What would you prioritize as a School Board Trustee in how these programs are offered and accessed? As a Catholic, I am committed to supporting every child’s unique, God-given potential. I will prioritize fair access to special education and arts programs across all Ward 1 schools. Every family deserves transparent access to the specialized resources their children need to thrive.
