What's the most important thing you'd act on as a school board trustee, and what experience or strengths would help you make it happen?

First Thing is We need Strong Negotiators ! Negotiate for Teachers, Students and EA's and even for cleaning staff ! Look I want clean schools, Small Classes, Better Compensation for Teachers and EA's. Look who we are dealing with : Learners who are our future our connection to world , Teachers who spend endless hours prepping and then delivering, Teaching Assistants who are next Teachers, Staff at School without whom we can not function - Let us ensure i) Fair Compensation ii) Fair Delivery of Education and iii) Care for Everyone !

Bullying in Schools

Bullying and discrimination are concerns raised in many school communities. What role do you believe a School Board Trustee should play in addressing these issues, and what actions would you support?

Thanks for this important question. I want to ask who has not been bullyied ? Almost everyone has been including myself and to stand up and make our Students brave - I would love to see sessions given to students about how to counter bullying ! It can come from any one : Teachers, Peers and Parents even ! Let us Give information to everyone and let them know : "We will not be Bullied at TDSB ! And TDSB Stands Up to Bullies"

Class Sizes and Staffing

Some school communities have raised concerns about teacher and educational-assistant (EA) staffing levels and class sizes. What role would you take as a School Board Trustee in addressing these concerns, and what would your priorities be?

Lets start with Class Size. I say small is what I would vie for ! Teacher are not to be put under undue pressure that they have to ensure quality eduction for huge classes ! Creativity comes from being free of pressure and stress ! Let us give everyone space ! Let me fight for proper compensation , proper number of teachers and EA's and finally care for each and every learner !

Special Programs and Program Access

School boards make decisions about the range and distribution of specialized programs, including special education, language programs, and arts programming. What would you prioritize as a School Board Trustee in how these programs are offered and accessed?

All of them ! Each one of them is critical ! We have to have broad spectrum of programs for everyone and access should be smooth - without any strings attached ! When it comes to Education we can not pick and choose for the students - Let them show what they like to learn ! And this way we stop waste of resources ! So why cherry-pick things that a Learner is not interested in ! Let us open all doors for them !
