The Mayor and City Council

My top priority would be making Ward 25 safer, more connected and responsive to residents. I will advance our 7-point platform, including traffic safety, new traffic lights, speed alerts, stronger community services, and accountability. As a 26+ year Ward 25 resident, I understand our community firsthand. I’ll bring a practical, neighbourhood-first approach: listening to residents, working with City staff and getting results. Housing

I would prioritize increasing the supply of affordable and supportive housing while speeding up approvals for new homes. (No High Rise Condos, Low Rise Townhouses and low rise apartment buildings). The City should work with provincial and federal partners, non-profits and developers to deliver more affordable rental options and protect existing affordable housing. We must also strengthen homelessness prevention and support services so people can find and keep a stable home. Ward 25 deserves practical action and results.

Cost of Living

I would prioritize reducing the everyday costs residents feel most especially housing, transit and City fees while protecting essential services. I would push for greater accountability in City spending, reducing waste, and directing resources toward affordability measures that provide immediate relief. As a 26+ year Ward 25 resident, I understand the pressure families face as I am experiencing these cost of daily life challenges. Toronto needs practical solutions that deliver value for taxpayers. Safety in Public Spaces

I would prioritize a stronger, visible community-safety approach: better lighting, faster responses to unsafe conditions, traffic-calming measures, speed alerts and new traffic lights where needed. I would also support stronger coordination among police, City services, transit and community organizations. Safety means both reducing risk and ensuring residents feel comfortable using parks, streets and transit. As a 26+ year Ward 25 resident, I’ll listen and act.

Getting Around the City

I would prioritize safer, faster and more reliable transportation across Scarborough by working closely with Scarborough First Community Organization to advance its Scarborough Subway Extension plan, helping Ward 25 residents. I would also focus on improving roads, addressing traffic bottlenecks, adding traffic lights where needed, and expanding traffic-calming and pedestrian-safety measures. I’ll push for reliable TTC service and better connections for cyclists and pedestrians.

Confronting Hateful and Hostile Behaviour

I would prioritize a Toronto where everyone is treated with dignity, respect and fairness. I would strengthen community partnerships, support anti-hate initiatives, and ensure residents have accessible ways to report and address discrimination and harassment. Working with local organizations, City services and community leaders, we can build safer, more connected neighbourhoods where newcomers and all residents feel welcome. Neighbours First.
